スーパーカブ
高校生の時からもう12年ちかく乗り続けているスーパーカブが、なんだかここんとこ調子があまりよろしくない。
ぼくの前に、山本さんというお兄さんがけっこう乗っていたので、少なくとも15年は走っています。
ゆとりにも電車で来たりバイクで来たりしているので毎日のようにお世話になっております。
外見はひどいもんですが今までエンジンは絶好調でした。
それが最近、エンジンがかからないので毎日押しがけしなきゃいけないし、へんなホースからテキテキとガソリンがもれてるし、2速になかなかならないし、ウィンカーも点いたり点かなかったりだし・・・と、いろいろな不調を訴えだしました。
けっこう前にパンクを直してもらう為に近所の大きいＨＯＮＤＡの店に行った時に、お兄さんにガソリンが漏れる事を相談してみたら
「まあ、原因はいろいろありますけど、まずバラしてみないとねぇ。でもこのバイクにそれだけのお金かける価値も無いと思うんで、新しいのを考えた方がいいと思いますよ」
だと！
価値が無いと！
クソーこの店には二度と来るか！！
と誓ったので、こんどはどこに持って行ったらいいかわからない…
とりあえず、ネットでいろいろ見ながら一番簡単そうなバッテリー交換をしたけど、期待していたウィンカーは何の変化もなし。
エンジンの方はバラしたら二度と戻せなくなりそうで怖いので、どこか親身になってぼくの老バイクを介護してくれるバイク屋さんを知りませんか？

たぶんキャブっぽいですよね。
分解してみようかと思ったんですが、直せなくなりそうで･･･
「スーパーカブの本」探してみます！
最近はサスからも変なオイルが漏れてきました。

キャブからガソリンが漏れているのかな？
キャブの分解清掃(ついでにパッキンとフロートバルブ交換)、オイル交換、プラグ交換、エアフィルター交換してみては？
構造が簡単なんで簡単です。
「スーパーカブの本」ついう絶版の本がメンテナンスに最適かと。
図書館で借りてくるといいでしょうね。
私もバイクいじったことありませんでしたが、20年前のカブをいただいたのでキャブのオーバーホール等したらバイクは快適になりました。
自分でやれば部品代ですが全部交換しても6000円もあれば間にあうと思います。
古いバイクにはそれなりの愛着と思いがありますよね。
